Recently a customer asked if there is a better buckle to use than the one he is currently using. There is a problem with the buckle bending when tensioning them on 3/4” woven cord strap. Usually galvanized buckles are used on composite strap and phosphate buckles are used on cord strapping. Our 2087 buckle would work better because it is the stronger .160 gauge wire compared to the .120 gauge galvanized that he is now using.
How have got the buckles are used? You described on buckles how to using. Thanks for described.
yes its the 2087 buckle on our website http://www.completepackagingproducts.com
Packaging an oversized pallet that is not heavy would probably just require a medium gauge stretch film. If the pallet is going to be shipped by common carrier or rail I would suggest using Poly or Pet plastic strapping to secure the material to the pallet. Two straps north/south and two straps east/west would be best. Thank you.
